Except you have to consider releases of MS Office are about three to 
four years apart... 97, 2000, 2003, 2007.  The major redesign of 2007 is 
very much a culture shock to those used to the display of earlier 
versions.  I know many who go back to 2003 simply because they don't 
like the appearance of 2007.

Consider also the fact that most people who have a choice choose 
something other than Outlook.  Most that are stuck with Outlook are 
stuck there due to corporate decisions, who take their time to upgrade.
