Yes.

spamitem w/ bogus date which SC ignores.

Received by cox's server 2008 Jun 30.

If you want to consider all of the possibilities, I suppose you could
consider that cox received it recently but the dateclocks on the cox
servers were in error.

On the subject of mail annoyances and glitches, I'm currently dealing with
an EL > mchsi.com server2server glitch.  Some of my mails fail with this
stupid message:

From: Mail Delivery System
<Mailer-Daemon at elasmtp-banded.atl.sa.earthlink.net>
Subject: Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

  <munged>@mchsi.com
    retry time not reached for any host after a long failure period

------ This is a copy of the message, including all the headers. ------

Trying to engage and motivate the EL system to look into the problem is
annoying the say the least.  There have been 4 episodes over the last
couple of weeks, 2 today.
