Perfectly possible

Of course not all languages *have* a translator still less one even as
usable as babelfish.

But in the days that the TextCat "Language guesser" at
http://odur.let.rug.nl/~vannoord/TextCat/Demo/textcat_src.html
worked an autotranslate could be set up.

Today one would have to acquire a copy and install it oneself.

For the current purpose detecting Mailman headers or  checking against 
"subscribe" and "mailing list" in 64 languages would do well enough.
