Which is much the same as the coverage of the US telephone Do Not Call
List and for the same (interpretation of the First Amendment) reasons.
State anti-Spam laws may apply but an appeal on Constitutional grounds
seems inevitable.
Now if you got an account with a Brit or other EU provider you would
find the EU Direct Marketing rules don't include that political &
religious loophole as the Scottish National Party found wrt robot phone
calls.
