I'm not here to stand up for cox in any fashion, but the fact that you
get a lot of
spam has nothing to do with cox unless it comes from a cox source,
unless you expect
them to reject the spam in the SMTP exchange, which ain't gonna happen
too soon.
I request the spam be left in my inbox, which they are, tagged as spam
by cox.
The cox filters seem to be quite effective and if I chose to allow them
to delete my spam,
I would end up with maybe 2 a week.  I do it this way because cox
doesn't do squat
except delete.  Lastly, in the past 2 years I've gotten probly 2 spam
total sourced by cox...
