Actually, I'd have to agree with that.  It would be nice to see a "This 
week/month/whatever, Spamcop reporters added xxxxxx to the bl, reaffirmed 
zzzzzzzz , and whatever.

I know, it only placates I suppose, but ... doesn't seem like it'd be hard 
to accomplish and is evidence of their efforts.
