Well most people don't have the time to do this. Think about just how
many mail servers out here don't even bother to use RBL, how many, that
do use RBL actually report the spam... And then, how many of those
actually do something about the spam sources...

Anyone who tries to fend of any form of computer abuse should really
take a look at the case in The Cuckoos Egg by Cliff Stoll... That guy
had to spend years solving his problems.

How many companies are going to pay someone to do this when there is no
possible financial gain for them, when in fact they are possibly
indirectly helping competitors.

Perhaps if we could turn it into a form of extreme sport there would be
better results.
