That is great what you are doing! And, you are absolutely correct about
being legally aggressive. I don't understand why more internet companies
are not more aggressive. Just think if that was all someone did all day,
how many spammers could be thwarted.
However, most people who are simply users (and a lot of server admins, too,
I expect) are just too busy to take the time to track spammers and police
stations down. I once found an address in NJ and was going to try to visit
it when we went there to visit my son, but never had the opportunity. And,
lots more of the users don't have the technical expertise to do that.
And, that's why Mike Easter discourages people from looking at spam - they
really don't what to do with it after they look at it - at least any
effective action.
But I am glad that you have both the time and the expertise!
