My site is still there and intact you can use this direct link to it

So that was not it....

But Cox could turn of my site locally, at worst they could chmod 000 all of
my files and turn of my control panel access so I could not turn it on, or
just redirect an index.html file to a construction page, and lock me out..
I still see no reason for NetSol to be involved in this at all....

Good idea, I did that and the entire site is byte for byte the same (as the
2.13.2007 backup).
Cox has a nightly zip file backup of the entire site, that I download from
time to time.
