Yes, there's such a folder, but no, it's *not* always empty. In order for 
items to be put into "sent-mail," you'd have to go into your "Personal 
Information" Options, and use the "Edit your identities" function (which is 
very useful, because you can then send mail from identities/addresses other 
than your SpamCop address), and select a value at the very bottom of each 
identity screen for "Sent mail folder." I think it might default to 
"None," so if you simply change that to "Use Default Value," then you will 
have the option of having a copy of each item that you compose or forwarded  
there, depending on whether or not the Save a copy in "sent-mail" box is 
ticked in your compose or forward window. My wife currently has over 300 
such items in her sent-mail...I have six (including two tests I just 
performed), and yet you'll not have any if you've not availed yourself of 
the full array of options. This is simply a configuration issue.

Another config option. I have no such folders, because in the "Maintenance 
Options," I haven't selected "Rename sent-mail folder at beginning of 
month?" There are other useful options there as well.
