If I'm not mistaken, NT 3 was actually in use before Win95 even
hit the market. It seemed to have been spawned from Win3.x,
at least from a GUI standpoint. Wasn't it also a 16-bit OS,
with NT 4 being the 32-bit?
I've also heard it said, from several sources, that "NT" was a moniker
meant to indicate "New Technology."
