The link doesn't pronounce Andrzej as Andrew but as An-jay^2 in the
anglicized version and something like An-zhay^3 in the 'polished'
version.

(I'm joking/teasing and contrasting anglicized and polished here.)

Yes. Andrzej is hard for me to write. I have to copy it letter by
letter as I can't remember how to spell it correctly.

Which reminds me; as long as we are on the subject of pronouncing
names. Brett Favre the quarterback has chosen to let the world most
particularly sportscasters pronounce his name 'farve' rhyming with carve
and starve. But, according to Gregory E. Favre^1, most of the
Mississippi Favres of which Brett derives do not pronounce their name
farve, but instead pronounce it 'fuave' rhyming with suave in a French
sort of way.

met him." - http://www.poynter.org/column.asp?id=71&aid=124160 What's
in a Name? - By Gregory E. Favre
