But the task of taking a hopefully fully performing Vista platform,
wiping the disk, and installing XP and praying everything works seems to
be a lot of work and risk to me (unavailable drivers might kill the
process entirely). Moving from Win98se to Win2000 wasn't too bad because
they were similar enough OS's that I didn't run into too many problems
(plus I had D-LO around to help, and old .social contributor).
