Not sure that anyone is arguing against that. She said it was isolated in the US.

Grew up deep/ or near/deep South in 60's. Busing. People just wanted to go to 
school where they lived. But eventually everyone got used to it. Some 
problems, but eventually, everything worked out. Then in the 70's the courts 
ordered people in the North to do the same thing. I've never seen such an 
outrage. No racism in the North? You tell me. Everytime I hear something like 
this I don't know whether I want to laugh or cry, but there is a real 
prejudice from northerners against southerners :: they think that all 
southerners are racists. Very wrong.

Yes. Slavery existed in the South. Yes, it was wrong. Do Northerners still 
believe we're racists here? Yes, some of them do.

Here's the point: People that are 'holier than thou', like Marjoleine, ought 
to look in their own back yard and clean that up first. Then she can talk.
