She's mistaken in a lot of what we are bantering about but she is right in
that racism or -ism of any sort should not be tolerated.  We can take
exception to the details of her augment (which is what makes this group so
interesting) but not about the point of her augment: that being we should
all speak out against the practice.  Quite frankly until more, a lot more,
do change will be slow.

I grew up in the deep south in the 40-50 saw things first hand and had my
a** whipped by more than a few 'good old boys' for speaking out.  Eventually
more and more saw the wisdom of my position. Perhaps because I was right.
Or perhaps because as I grew up, a** whipping me had a significantly higher
cost ( I lost a lot less fights <g>)

I could never understand that friends we played with were not allowed to
attend the same schools.  Come to think of it I still can't understand.
